We are a circle
of women who come together to celebrate the power of rhythm, to
honor the sound of each spirit, to listen to the voice of each
drum as we weave a community of sound to manifest our dreams and
free our souls.
The circle is
open to women who seek the experience of hand drumming in a group
setting. (We have extra drums!) First time drummers are always
welcome.
Drum sound is
a powerful energy, and the first hour of the circle is devoted
to exploring new rhythms, laughing, playing, and sharing our experiences
with percussion.
The second hour
of the Drum Circle is devoted to Drumming with Intent, a spiritual
process of manifesting our dreams, needs, & desires using
the drum as a prayer tool.
When we state
our intent, each individual begins the process of manifestation
by speaking into being the desired outcome. When we agree as a
circle to drum with our sister's intent, the power of the drum
prayer is amplified. Finally, we drum, and let our hands, hearts
& minds unite to express our prayer through vibration....
and sound.
